Two Operational Modes of an Air Conditioner

There was a time when air conditioners were just equipped with only one ON/OFF switch accompanying with low, high and medium cooling options. But as the time has passed, the technology has become advanced given us a way to explore more through an air conditioner as per our convenience. The modern AC system has more electronics and modes of operation to bring a more comfortable living with the AC system. Though manufacturer specific manuals make you aware all about the modes but still it is essential for you to have a general idea about two major modes which are explained by AC repair Delray Beach service here in this blog for your reference.

Cool Mode

This mode is a regular or default mode which is run according to the temperature settings and the fan speed at which it is kept. Now the advantage in this mode is that electricity is saved substantially which of course depends upon the temperature set in the air conditioner.

Fan Mode

This mode gives us a flexibility of letting the fan run by having the compressor off which eventually gives us a way to save good amount of energy because the compressor is switched OFF. Yes! It is true that a compressor is the only component which fetch more electricity in comparison to other components. But this is also true that without a compressor, you can’t think of having coolness around as the compressor only can bring coolness to the room.

Though there are several modes of operation of an AC machine but these two are most often used and are thought thoughtful in order to keep the air conditioner ON.
